What is the book about?
Pierre’s mother works at a safe house. “What’s a safe house?” he wondered. In a real-life conversation between 8-year-old Pierre and his mother, his questions are answered. Pierre gets to experience the joy and fun of going to a safe house and realizing there’s nothing to fear. He now wants to go back to help others and make a difference too. This story takes a difficult, global topic and brings it down to a child’s level.
